Great Post

Here's a great post I read on alleyinsider.com:

I don't think Hollywood executives care whether a supporting player is in the living room or in the mother's basement. The fact that it's in the mother's basement probably also means it's hooked up to a decent widescr33n monitor. Anyway, I doubt that Hollywood is seriously concerned. They surely recall that we've got one year until analog video goes the way of audio cassettes, betamax, and laserdisc players. All they have to do now, is wait. Only when people can see the difference for themselves (or are forced to do so, as in 2009), will they bother to dump technology that still works.
