For $100 to $150 you can still get a HD DVD player, 7 free movies and your choice of over 422 HD titles that will be a third the price of blue-ray discs in a few days and the players are great 1080P upconverters for DVD. Blue-ray players are still $300 and will remain so now. That's right folks, no price drops for you. Sony is pimping a format that doesn't really work and you all bought into it...and if you don't think that Sony paid off Toshiba to quit the game, guess again.
